Problem applying a new product

Hi, first time here so a bit nervous. I have just purchased version 8 and am building a new site. Having a problem when I add a new product, when I click apply changes, the product is coming up twice ont the content tree and then the program is closing down. Any advise appreciated. Thanks Jane

Hi Jane,

Is this issue replicable every time you create a product? What happens if you create a new product in a section and then instead of clicking on apply changes you right click on the section and select 'New product'?

Did you have any issues while installing Actinic?

I would initially suggest compacting your Database ( Housekeeping | Compact databases | Select both options and click on OK) and then checking to see if this still happens, if it does, you will need to raise a support ticket @ http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm so that a member of the team can take a look at a snapshot of the site for you.
