No Design Tab?

Just installed V8 and I have no design tab option? Is this correct?

Check in Settings / Business Settings / Options / Access On This PC / Design Changes.

Norman - Thanks for the quick reply.

It appears I have purchased the catalog client edition, does this mean I can not edit my design through the Actinic interface? If not am I able to still edit the design via Dreamweaver.

Who did you buy the software off - you should not have been sold this unless you have Actinic Developer as it is of no use without the design being done in developer.

Hi

This is my first posting - so please bear with me!!!!
I'm evaluating the actinic products I can't see any details on the design tab in designer. The Design Changes option under business settings is ticked. Any ideas what's happening please??

Katrina,

Have you tried closing Actinic and then restarting. Once done check to see if you have anything appearing on the preview pane etc, if not, click on 'Window' in the menu and then select 'Page Preview' and 'Layout Code' and anything else you would like to view under the tab.

For some reason these options are greyed out. Business settings-->Design changes ticked!!!

Any other ideas?

Can you go to 'Window | Restore Initial View Layout' - or is that greyed out too?

Followed the link you suggested. No good.
Followed the link within that link - tried all various jiggery-pokery to get the design tab to appear - no luck.
Then used brute force and ignorance - uninstall and reinstall. Voila!! Design tab there
