    Unable to Upload

    I have a problem updating a large site, V8.03. Have just changed a few products on the site and for some reason the upload fails when sending diffprod.fil. Error message says 'Actinic is unable to upload to the site using the FTP protocol. Select Continue to upload the site using HTTP or Cancel to stop the upload.'

    But when I switch to HTTP by selecting continue I get a message saying that 'the Operation Timed out' and the site update is cancelled.

    It is set to enhanced FTP and I have tried lengething the timeout in the FTP settings without success.

    Do a compact of database to start with and then give it another try.

    Failing that, do a web | configure ensureing both checkboxes are checked and keep the defaults as you go through.

    Once completed, then do a web | refresh normally clears this type of thing.

      Sorted!!

      Thank you, checking through the network set up led me to the solution, which was to select 'Use Passive FTP Transfer ‘ in the network set up. It then uploaded okay.
