    Amending Home page

I have a number of questions regarding the home page and was wondering if someone could help me out please? I've tried looking around the forum but can't find the answers. So here goes....

    1. I am trying to amend the logo on the home page, but can't find the field to amend. I can amend the logo for the rest of the site but not for this page. Where should I be looking? I'd also like to increase the height of the logo area - where do I do this?

    2. I've set up a number of fragments within this page, but it's displaying them one under the other. How can I display them as columns?

    3. Am I right in assuming that the default home page that comes with Actinic is a brochure page?

    4. When including new images within actinic, can I just set up a new sub-folder within sites called, eg, images and copy my images to that folder or do I have to register these files somewhere?

Sorry for the daft questions, but I'm still learning.

    Thanks in advance

1 & 3) The home page is a Brochure Layout. Brochure and Content pages use different overall layouts. Click it in the Design tree and then select the Design tab and you should see what Layout is in use.

The height of the logo area should be set in the Actinic style sheet. Design tab / Select Page Type . Actinic style sheet.

Bill posted on http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=26637 about fixing the logo height.

      4) For images used in the site design, it is best to leave these in the Site folder.

For product / section images, it is good practice to keep these in a folder that is a sub-folder of your Site one. I.e. as you suggest.

        2) Settings / Site Options / Layout / Fragment / Column Count For Brochure Fragments.

No worries. PS I craftily posted 3 separate replies in a vain attempt to catch up with Jont who recently overtook me on the top 10 poster list.
