    Out of Stock

    Hi,

Currently working away to get our new website up and running and have to say I'm really impressed with Actinic and have enjoyed working with it so far.

Anyway, just a question about stock levels : Is it possible to warn the customer that the product is "Out of Stock" AND let them buy it anyway? At the moment I get the "Out of Stock" warning but the Add to Cart Button is removed. Is it possible to stop the button disappearing?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks.

To do this you have to set actinic to allow ordering even when out of stock and then use a version of the javascript here http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=20588 (and in the AUG) to display the 'out of stock' message.

Ahh. I was thinking V7 when I read this. I think there's a better way to do it in V8. I think Jan came up with something. Let me go look.

No, Jan's bit was for out of stock components.

Chris, did come up with a way to do this in V8. See http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=25408

You mean you don't hear the voices?
