    Nested <h> tags and SEO

Looking at the product layout "Standard Layout Using CSS" the product name is wrapped in a nice <h3> tag ... great for SEO and something most have done themselves in v7 etc.

The next tag is a <p> for the product reference (which may or not show on the page depending on the block if ) and then another <h3> tag for the product price albeit with a different class to the product name.

Can anyone proffer any SEO evidence on a v8 site on how this is being seen by Google et al - negatively or positively in respect of the poor lack of content between the two <h3> tags? Also with regards to multiple products on a page possibly compounding the issue?

I recall there was a similar thread at the very start of v8 forum (unable to locate) but this is more targetted to the one specific location in the code.

Personally I think it's a mistake as it only seems to be the case in that layout. I think it was done to simlify formatting as the h3 tag class is defined in the CSS. Certainly contrary to W3C global structure guidelines.
