Actinic link - transaction types problem

I'm trying to create a new profile in the 'Actinic into Sage Line 50' component of Actinic Link. The 'payment method' drop down in the 'transaction types' tab is blank - i.e has no options. All other drop downs on this and other tabs get populated normally.

If try to manually insert 'Credit card details captured for later processing' into this field. I get 'run time error 3265, Item not found in this collection'

Any help would be very gratefully received.

You have to have the payment method selected in the actinic site and then it will get picked up by the link program

Go to Business settings | Payment details to enter the payment type

      Thanks,

I had in fact done this.

The payment method drop down menu in 'transaction types' should get populated with the payment method options 'payment on account' etc.

It isn't doing and this, I'm pretty sure, is what's causing me the problems I'm having.

I reiterate all the other drops downs in actinic link are getting populated normally.

      Cheers,

      Phil

        Hi Phil,

I can't find any other report of this issue. Is this the only profile you have set up with Link? If so, then can I suggest un-installing and re-installing the Link software, just in case it didn't install properly.

Was a resolution found for this as I have exactly the same problem.

Installing V8.51 sorted the population of the payment methods but the run time error is still present although error number has now changed to 3265, parameters do not save on exit.

Out of interest Phil had you deleted the default payment methods from the grid, the ones Actinic places there on install?

            David,

Is this issue related with the other thread on Link. If it is I guess you have this sorted now after turning of UAC in Vista.

            Kind regards,
