    Customer Account Not Uploading Properly

After upgrading to 8.04 I have have noticed that sometimes when A new customer account is setup when I update the site it says that the account does not exist.

As we create around 20 accounts per day this is getting to be a big pain and there is at least 3-4 a day that arn't uploading

The only way that I can get these account on is to do a full site refresh

anyone else getting this problem ?

    Hi David

As far as I'm aware I don't think this problem has been reported before. If all of the accounts have been created in a similar manner then there is no reason why this should happen. At the moment all I can suggest is for you to do a complete purge and refresh of your site to see if it makes any difference at all. However if the problem still continues then I'm afraid we might need to get hold of a snapshot of your site to investigate.

You can do a purge and refresh through Help | Troubleshooting, if you choose to go ahead please make sure you have a backup of your site and are aware how the purge and refresh works.

correct me if i am wrong

but dosen't a purge and refresh delete all active and saved carts ??

We have a large number of saved carts on our system and would cause a big headache for some of our customers if they lost there saved carts.

most of these saved carts hold around 100+ items !!

        Hi

This facility will only temporarily delete files from the web site necessary for the proper operation of the store and then conduct a complete site refresh. So this will not effect the customers stored carts because that is controlled by the cookies on the their PC's. As long as they do not delete their cookies there will not be a problem.

        Hope this helps
