Actinic --> Quickbooks Tax Help Please

Hello, I am very close to getting my orders imported into Quickbooks, but I am stuck on one particular error when configuring taxes.

I get the following error message when I try processing the Link:

in Order processor; QuickBooks Tax Item for
    Actinic Tax Name 1: (None)
    Actinic Tax Name 2: (None)
cannot be found in the tax grid. Please adjust your tax settings.

In Actinic Tax Name one in the Link program I have it as "NY State Tax" as it says in Actinic.

In Actinic Tax Name 2 there is nothing.

I have tried many scenarios with both Simple and Advanced tax settings. I even tried making a new tax in Quickbooks that matches the one in Actinic. I've read all the help files and user manuals and am truly stuck. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to fix this? Thanks!

This seems to be a configuration issue. You should configure Actinic with advanced tax. You should also configure the Actinic to QuickBooks Link with every range of possiable tax type to make sure that each order will process. This means that you need to have each tax item defined with ist own tax line in the Link software. I have attached a zip file which contains two jpgs. the first is the Actinic Tax configuration screen. The second is the Actinic Quickbooks Link Tax tab. Configure as shown in the images.

Also you should be testing with a Quickbooks sample database and a Actinic sample database. If you have troubles with the configuration it can often be issues with the accounts and how they are created in Quickbooks database.

Thanks Brian, I'll see what I can do. I think I'm close here as I'm understanding the problem a little bit more through trial and error.
