Mini New Products - Is this possible

I've been using the 'New Products' option in the marketing drop down menu on my main page and like the way it displays the products. I was wondering if it is possible to use this layout on inner pages within my site?

For example:

Most of my products are two clicks away from the cgi navigation, the 1st click leading to a menu of manufacturers like this

Under this list of manufacturers I'd like to use the Mini New Products layout to list and link through to my products. So customers could then either choose a manufacturer and view their specific products or choose a product and link through to it from the Mini New Products layout below

Does anyone think this is possible?

That is very easy to do. On the 'Design' Tab, click on a section and then in the 'layout code' below click on the yellow swirl with an upwards arrow (Navigate to Parent Layout) till you reach the section layout, which should read something like 'Layout Code - Section Page with Section Name at the Top'.

In here scroll down to around line 46 or thereabouts, look for where it says 'Product List'. Place your cursor right after this and hit enter to create a new line, now right click on the new line and select ' Insert Layout', from the choices presented, select 'NewProductsList', now select 'Use Fixed Layout' and select 'Home Page New Products List' from the options. Click on 'insert' and then on 'Apply changes'.

To make sure the New Products list appears check in 'Marketing | New Product Listing' to see if it is 'Enabled'. It should work for you straight away as you already have a list appearing.

Hi Bruce,

Yes, it does display the new products list as displayed on my homepage but I am not after it displaying these products. I want to choose which products I display there......preferably the products that I have listed the next click away (the ones that display after clicking on the manufacturers links at the top of the page) here

The idea being that a customer can view snippets of all the products (using just the best seller layout) or choose a specific manufacturer from the links at the top.
