Website Update and Refresh greyed out

Hi all,
we upgraded from actinic developer7to actinic designer 8 a while back. At the time we updated a client from 7 to 8 and sent them over the snapshot. Now we need to update the site and the refresh and update links are greyed out. The Network setup is fine and passes tests and another site we have is also fine. Does anyone have any idea how to sort it?

Can you check in 'Design | Designer Options' if 'Site Upload enabled' is ticked.

thanks Tracey that has sorted it. We must have turned it off a while back to ensure that we didn't overwrite anything the client had done.

I was in with the client yesterday and loaded a new snapshot taken from our design version onto their actinic business software. The snapshot didn't seem to contain any of the business settings we had set before making the snapshot so I had to configure them again for the client. In our design version we had set the un-ticked the use as home page box for the page and in design options we had set a specific URL for the homepage. These settings seem to be ignored at the clients end and the lack of design settings section in Business means I'm unsure how to go about making that happen for them. When the client uploaded after I left it meant the homepage I set got overwritten with actinic homepage.

It's probably due to my lack of understanding of how version 8 design version and business process work.

How did you create the snapshot ('File | Snapshot | Export Site', 'Design | Deploy Site Snapshot' or 'Design | Deploy Partial Site Design')? When importing the snapshot, did you tick the 'All Content' option?
