Sage, imported products and extended information

We are encountering problems with importing Sage v 12 into Actinic v 8: extended information button does not appear and pages are not created with Sage imported products. All software is using up to date patches etc.

We are finding this a problem whether using our own site or even with the default Actinic example site.

Has anyone else encountered this or have any ideas on solving this issue ?

Any input is much appreciated.

I have attached a sample 'Sage Import File' for you to look at.

It shows the format of Sage product import files - you have to delete the yellow cells in order to import the data.

The key weird things are:
- You can't use header rows
- All fields must be present

Sorry, slight misunderstanding.

We are using Actinic Link, exporting from Sage into Actinic via import Sage line 50 data.

Products are created, we can alter fields its just via preview or upload that the extended info html page is not generated. i.e. click the extended info button and get file not found error.

Extended Info in Sage

Hi

I had this problem, did not write down the answer - so hopefully this is correct

Design - Library - Layout - Extended Infopagedesign?? (it was definately one with a circle!)- untick product - untick hide selector if only one choice available - ok - go back in and tick product - ok.

I had to go back into all my products with extended info and untick generate pop up page - apply - and then tick the box again!

Hope this solves the problem - if not they do have the answer in support
