    Protx integration with Actinic

    Hiya,

We are just in the process of uploading the site to our dedicated server. We uploaded it last night, and tried to buy something and were gutted to find that Actinic and Protx are not integrated together in such a way that you can use Protx Direct. We had made the assumption that we would be able to take credit card details on our secure server rather than redirecting to a Protx server page.

It's not a question that we thought to ask the Sales Team and the Trial that we had created didn't appear to go off to a Protx page, so we're a bit dismayed as the site we've just got rid of, worked on the server.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to do this? Are there any other Providers that have been integrated with Actinic to allow the creditcard details to be taken without redirection? Would a developer company be able to write something for us?

Any advice would be really helpful.

    Kindest regards,

    Amy

Without involving ANY PSP, Actinic has the ability to capture credit card details for later processing. You just need either your own dedicated SSL or Actinic's Shared SSL to protect the process, and then make the selection in the payment options area.

      Hi

In addition to what Bill has stated (which is the most versatile solution in this case), you can use your protx vsp terminal to process tha data captured.

Give Protx a call and see if you can switch service levels, it may be more cost effective to move plans depending on your site footflow and order count.

Actinic have a fix file or some Protx issues, contact them. The file is Act_OCCPROTXTemplate.html.

I haven't used it yet as we are still waiting for our new accounts to be set up.
