I work quite a bit different to that Jo, as i take nothing at all until completely finished, but i do not part with the snapshot until i have been paid. They choose when the site is finished by viewing and testing it on a separate domain. I guess as long as the vast majority of your customers come away happy, that's all that counts.

I would have to say to all customers, never ever part with all monies before it starts, you've lost all power then. I'd actually hate building a site that i've already been paid for, the payment at the end is the carrot for me. If you've already been paid, it's like working for nothing in my brain, if that makes sense.

It's a bit like buying a sofa over 4 years, after 3 years the sofa is trashed and old, yet you are still paying for it. Glad i'm not alone anyway Croccy.
