SSL details needed for setup

Hi everyone

sorry to be asking this question, but I'm nowhere near my PC with Actinic on it and won't be for ages.

I need to establish what information I need in order to be able to set up SSL on a V8 site. Do I need some kind of certificate number? Or do I simply specify whether the entire site or just the important check out pages are covered by SSL?

We need to know what type of SSL certificate you can buy from your hostbefore we can help with further detail?

Some hosts will install an SSL cert for you, some will offer a shared cert, others will suggest you use Actinic SSL.

Normal practise is to run SSL on checkout and loginpages only

the hosts have installed a certificate for me and I can see the entire site under https - I just wanted to understand what details I have to enter into Actinic for the site to use SSL just on the checkout pages (no customer logins on this site). I am away from my PC today and just wanted to make sure I'd got the right information before the weekend when I get back to my PC.

on payment and security tab, tick the box that says "SSL on login and checkout only"

It's as simple as that, huh? Excellent - thanks for that Jo. I'd briefly looked at it last weekend but I couldn't remember if I needed a certificate number or not.
