Hello
I'm having real trouble identifying a suitable procedure for stock control when using Actinic with Sage Line 50. Any pointers would be gratefully received.
We currently keep stock figures in Sage, and these are transferred into Actinic when a Sage to Actinic link is done. We plan to use Actinic for entering offline orders when customers call the sales office directly
The main problem I can see is when a subsequent Sage to Actinic link is done at a time when there are pending orders in Actinic. The link software will overwrite the Estimated stock figure in Actinic with the figure from Sage.
This means that all line items on any orders that are pending when the Sage to Actinic link is run will have incorrect stock figures until the order is completed and succesfully transferred across to Sage - which could be some time.
Am I missing the point somewhere here, does anyone else use Stock management successfully.
Regards
Alec
