Help changing overall font size

Hi all

Can someone help with changing the overall font size on the site. I have read a few threads but cant seem to work it out.

One thing i have noticed is the font does not rezise when viewed on diffrent computors with diffrent resolutions.

I understand this may be to do with fonts that may not be on other PCs but the site i am working i am using actinics default font or so i beleave as i have not changed any settings that i am aware.

I just want the text overall to look a bit bigger on the site.

this is because Actinic has decided to hard code the font sizes by default and its all controlled within SiteSettings

• click on the Settings Menu
• then on Site Options
• click on the first tab called GENERAL
• slide the scroll bar to the bottom
• here is the font sizes to change

this will need some experimenting to get the best solution for your site.
start of by using "ems" or "percents"
when working in "percents", the default size for "medium text" is 16px so 10px is approx 62%
when working in "ems" 1em is 10px, 0.8em is 8px, 1.6em is 16px and so on.
you need to experiment a bit here.
if you need to understand more about "ems", "percents" and "px" then try a google search

You can also change this 'at the source' so to speak. Design | Library - Variables tab, select the first group "Appearance settings", expand it and double click the variable name to access the settings.
