Editing Cart/checkout Layouts - Best Way

Hi

Following the Actinic HELP files, when wanting to edit the HTML for one of the cart phases, I select the relevant layout in design mode, and from the "select page type" dropdown. The problem I'm finding is, that by doing so once the changes have been made, the design becomes the default layout for the last subsection viewed.

Is there a better way to edit cart phase HTML, and still preview the changes made? Has someone found a better solution

If you are somehow following that order, then you are probably not editing the right thing. As soon as you change to design mode, select the cart phase in the dropdown and leave the layout well alone. There is no need to select anything outside the preview pane when editing the cart phases - select in the preview pane, edit in the Layout Code pane.
