Upload Issue

Hi

I am trying to upload a Snapshot to V8.04 having upgarded from 8.03. Problem is the upload gets to the catalog upload section and after about 5 minutes displays an error message which asks to switch from FTP to HTTP upload. On accepting the message it automatically switches to HTTP upload and works OK for 3-4mins and then dumps out saying "operation timed out". Any advice would be gratefully received.

Errm, bit of confusion here. If you have already processed the 8.0.3 snapshot by File | Snapshot | Import Site and gone through the upgrade, then that part is finished.

Now you are uploading a completed website and having FTP/HTTP communication problems - completely divorced from the completed upgrade.

You need to find out if anything has been changed on the webspace by the host - if they have reconfigured anything that might affect this. Then check your ISP - has there been congestion/could there be a problem on your line?

Finally, just try again off-peak, when fewer surfers are around - possibly between 5 and 6pm when most office surfers are travelling home.
