Multi User - Transfer Products

Hi all,

I am experiencing great difficulty transferring products from one shop to another. If I copy / paste sections by switching between sites, actinic begins crashing when uploading or exporting snapshots.

File, export catalog and then an import in the other site runs through ok but no sections are created and no products are added..

Has anyone been able to transfer products from one site to another any other way?

Actinic bug..

Ok, I have worked out the copy and paste situation. This should go down as a bug.

In Shop 1 I had created a variable 'Stock Date' for all products. Shop 2 did not have this variable.

When copying / pasting sections from Shop 1 to Shop 2, it seemed to work. However uploading the site and exporting snapshots caused Actinic to crash.

I fixed this for the moment by creating the variable in Shop 2 and just not using it.

Therefore when copying / pasting sections, Actinic needs to check to see what variables are available. If they are not, they should be ignored as they are probably just used for shop specific functions.

Let me know if your experiences are any different. By the way this is on Business Multisite 8.0.3.

Copying and pasting between sites isn't a supported operation, so I can't really help you with that. The exporting and importing is the way to go - but you obviously don't have any success with that. You say there are no errors reported - did you enter a filename for an error log file?
