dreamweaver commands menu

I'm running Acrinic Business multi site 8.0.0 and have
Actinic External Design Extension Suite version 8.0.0

The command menu in dreamweaver is still starting up actinic. I thought this had been fixed. Am i running on a wrong version somewhere?

Have you tried installing the 8.0.4 fix and installing the DW interface again.

Unfortunately the bug is back in 04 - its been hacking me off for a few days now.

I installed 804 from scratch again two days ago as well as the re-installing the DW interface and have the same problem.

Jenny - if you are really using 8.0.0, you need to upgrade as this error was fixed in 8.0.3

With regards to 8.0.4, and the feeling it has been re-introduced, I can open the Commands menu and also add a PayPal button (with 'WebAssist') without starting Actinic. I have 8.0.4, with the 8.0.4 plug-in installed, and Dreamweaver MX 2004. What version of DW are you chaps using?

I have just tried without Actinic being open and it does indeed launch Actinic .. I always have both open so had not realised.

Jenny - as long as you have installed the DW extension that came with 8.0.4, you are fine.

I'm wondering if there is a problem with Dreameaver 8. I'll re-open the bug and test it with DW 8.

I had 8.0 with dw extension! upgraded to 8.04 using actinc upgrade!
it still crashes alot..well you know me! but no I haven't made notes.. sorry will do.

I have the problem with a fresh Actinic 804 install and DW MX2004.

8.04 and DW 8 - same problem here. In fact i often find that a sight slip on the menu bar and accidentally hover over the "Actinic" menu, it also fires up then for me i.e. without having clicked, just hovered.

We have still got this bug on two machines running actinic V8.0.5 and dreamweaver 8.0.2.

When we hover over the actinic menu it fires up without clicking the menu, when not in an actinic site/template. Also when clicking in the code window when working in dreamweaver actinic randomly fires up which is very annoying.

On one machine actinic just hangs and freezes the whole machine and on the other it fires up into actinic.

Any news on this?
