If i wanted to load up a different index page rather then the main catlogue page how would i do this, i know when i upload my site Actinic creates the index page and puts it in my main folder, can i move this to another folder and use my own index page to link into the catalogs index page elsewhere?

Actinic by default uploads everything to the acatalog folder other than the hompage which it loads to the root of the web server (index.html).
At the top of the content tree the small house icon is the index.html homepage - this can be used or you can opt not to use as the web homepage... there is a tick box against the tab. If you opt not to use this page you will need to upload your own page created in say Dreamweaver etc.
The index page in acatalog is always generated - to bounce this to another page of your choosing you can set up a redirect on your server to point to mypage.html
