Golden Padlock

A customer contacted me and told me I had no Golden padlock on the secure page. I have checked my website and several others that belong to Actinic website owners and in Explorer 7 it does not exist but in explorer 6 it is there.

Is this of great concern as I have noticed since explorer 7 has been released and also when I upgraded my sales have dropped off. Maybe eagle eyed shoppers have left and gone elsewhere.

Does anyone else have this experence?

In IE 7 the golden padlock is at the top to the rhs of the url window.

No idea why they moved that - crazy thing to do I think.

The coloured address bar in FF is a much better way to make the secure site obvious.

This caught me out the other day on a post. I agree that its a crazy thing to do as people are used to it being in the bottom right corner.
