    Company Contact Details

    I've recently upgraded from v7 to v8 and have come across an odd error on our Contact Us page.

    For some reason all of the [ADDRESLINE1] to [ADDRESSLINE5] variables are disaplying on our web page as:

    <Actinic:Variable Name = 'ADDRESSLINE1'/>
    <Actinic:Variable Name = 'ADDRESSLINE2'/>
    etc.

    but the rest of the company detail variables are displaying correctly. I haven't made any alterations to this layout so am puzzled as to whats gone wrong. This isn't a pressing matter as I've just hard coded the address instead but I would appreciate it if someone could cast some light on this for me.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve

    According to my understanding this is happening in the About Us area of the Term's and Conditions page is that correct? If that is case since this is an upgraded site and if you had choose to maintain your existing design when upgrading from V7 to V8 you might find both the upgraded and the default layouts for the "Terms and Conditions" in Design | Library | Layouts. Please compare both the layouts and if necessary make changes to see if it helps solve the problem.

      [ADDRESSLINE1] not

      Hi Kiran/Steve,

      I get this too! Not only [ADDRESSLINE1] to [ADDRESSLINE5] but [POSTCODE] [TAX1DESC] [TAX1NR] [TAX2DESC] and [TAX2NR]

      Strange the other variables seem to work like [COPMANYNAME] and [PHONE]. This is a brand new site without a trace any older version of actinic and its a simple fragment of a brouchure page.

      Version: Actinic 8.50 HBKA

      Kind Regards
      Tim

        Hi Tim,

        Can you try this, go to 'Design | Library | Layouts | Checkout Area' expand this and then right click on 'Invoice Address Fields' and select 'revert To factory settings'. If this does not fix the issue I would suggest you take this up with support.

        Kind regards,

          Yes I get this too, despite trying to revert to factory settings. It's in a new site with a clean install 8.5.1 HERA
          [ADDRESSLINE1] [ADDRESSLINE2] [ADDRESSLINE3] [ADDRESSLINE4] [POSTCODE]
          come out as:
          <Actinic:Variable Name = 'ADDRESSLINE1'/> <Actinic:Variable Name = 'ADDRESSLINE2'/> <Actinic:Variable Name = 'ADDRESSLINE3'/> <Actinic:Variable Name = 'ADDRESSLINE4'/> <Actinic:Variable Name = 'POSTCODE'/>

          Is there a fix/workaround for this other than keying in the actual info?

              Following an upgrade to HUFA this problem still exists.
              Thanks for the advice anyway Jo - always worth doing.

                  I'm using 8.5.2 and am having the same problems as above.

                  Does anybody know if this has been reported/fixed please?

                  Regards

                    You need to change [addressline1] to [address1] (and likewise for lines 2 - 5) and [postcode] to [postalcode].
