Just a random question, any items on the wish list on this version?

Yeah - there's quite a few new features in it which came from customer demand:

• Ability to edit any layout in Dreamweaver
• Ability to quickly look up styles in the Actinic Stylesheet
• Different calculation bases for different shipping zones
• Different 'free over' limits for different shipping classes

There's a few other bits as well.

I bit the bullet and plunked down my $ in November... Still running V7 because of one or two quirks that make it impractical to convert. Looking at the 8.5 feature list, they'll finally be fixed.

You guys (in U.K.) are lucky though - I'm betting we'll be 2 to 4 weeks behind you for our version of 8.5. in USA.

Actinic Admin -- Just for giggles - *any* idea when the 8.5 USA version will come along?

OK - err - I think in all that there is a question about when 8.5.0 will roll out into full production. Basically, the core application is ready to roll but we are waiting for one add-on component to be finished off. It is rather frustrating. If you need 8.5.0 for a bug fix then please contact me or support at we'll let you know where you can get it from. Otherwise - please bear with us.

The way that version releases work in the US is that they are reviewed by our distributor, Sure Solutions, before they are made available for download in the US. Usually this process takes 1-2 weeks, but if Brian is away visiting customers or something like that, it can take longer. I suggest emailing sales [@] actinic.com for updates.

I'm now twiddling my thumbs waiting for this release so that we can finallly check and upload our main site.
