Hiding Retail Prices

I am running 8.0.3. I have customer accounts on a trade site offering 7.5% ABOVE the trade ("retail") price. I have ticked hide retail price in the customer account box but each customer can still see the retail price. This is not a good idea as their price is currently above the marked "retail" price.

I also have requested customer login on entry but anyone can see prices just by going to the website and clicking a section. Take a look at http://www.supplements4trade.com.

Normally the retail price would be for you non account customers

The account customers who need to log on would then have the discounted prices which is varable for each customer. they can then also see both the retail price and their own price which is cheaper

Not sure if this would work the other way, or have i misunderstood you

Also looking at the site, I think your product information would be better for SEO with the description on the product page rather than on a pop up page.

There is a box that says hide retail prices (picture attached) for each customer. The idea is for each customer not being able to see the retail prices only theirs.

When it is ticked customers still can see the retail prices. Also as said previously anyone can see the prices when I have selected that login is required.

When I tried that before it just hid the two prices being shown to the account customer on their product display, It did not stop the main no account pages showing the retail price

As a matter of interest why do you charge your account customers more, it's normally the other way around

The account customers are not being charged more. Although it seems like they are, that is the problem. Where it is marked Retail Price should actually be trade price as the retail price is much more than the customers are charged.

How would I change the text marked Retail price to trade price?

You can change the text via Design | Text . The text you want to change can be found by via Phase -1 and Id 294 . You can the Change the Phase and Id by clicking on the GoTo button that appears at the bottom on the Desing | Text window.
