v8 Coupon codes - couple of questions

Hi all

Thanks for any help with the below.

1) I'd like to offer a coupon code deal to a couple of hundred of our customers where, on entering their own code (based around their name), they get a discount on the items in their shopping basket. Is it possible to set this up in Actinic v8 more quickly than setting each coupon code up one at a time - i.e. can you somehow copy and paste a basic coupon code set-up (entering different acceptable code entries) or use some other method of multiple entry. I imagine that accepted coupon codes live somewhere in Actinic's internal coding.

2) ls there a limit to the number of coupon codes that you can create for one site?

I'd rather use a coupon code than force customers through a log-in process.

Hi Andrew,

You will have to create the coupon codes in very much the same way it was done in v7, one at a time. If you intend to send each one a unique code, I hope you are aware that it would mean creating x instances of the discount.

I will put your request on the wish list as it could be a useful feature.

For your other question, to the best of my knowledge there is no limit.
