backup and import in different computer??

I created site with my computer, but my husband wants to use his laptop in shop so that he can receive order and send email quickly for valentine's day roses sale. I burned backup file in my computer to CD, but should I need to burn image file, too??? I saved it in different folder, not actinic folder.
