clickable images on home page

Hi
I've just upgraded to V8 and am loving it!!
Just got one small question - I want to put a number of clickable images (clicking thru to corresponding product sections in store) laid out in 3 columns on the home page. Is this possible? And if it is, how do I do it?

You could place an html table in a text only fragment with clickable image links to your sections.
