2 sidebar layout on product pages?

Hello,

I am currently in the process of upgrading Catalog v7 to v8.

In v7 we adopted a 2 sidebar layout on the product pages. When I do an offline preview of the product pages I see that there is no longer a right hand side column.

Is this layout not supported (offered?) in v8? Perhaps I'm missing something...

depends how you set up your site - url would help. V8 supports all the V7 themes except the frame type designs.

Yes, I believe so. A forum suggestion has been that some of the main body content is too wide, even though it works fine in v7.
Will investigate whether this is the reason why the right most column info/text appears underneath the rest of the content.

This seems to be a common problem with some V8 upgrades - there is a thread on it.

my suggestion is to apply the theme again and work from there. This is what I and some other designers do to V8 upgrades as we have found it to be quicker in the end than battleing with upgrade problems.

Thanks to all - another import with the theme seems to have done the trick.
