v8 themes and other animals.

i'm having a bit of bother with themes.

- in V8 i register a new site. and edit its templates.
- i export a partial design, and include all of the little ticky boxes.
- i import it into another site, and nothing changes?

admittedly, the second site was based on a different theme, but...


how can i force the second site to use all the items i'v selected in the first one. did i miss some obvious option?

partial design snapshot has to be imported twice for it to work

This "feature" should be incorporated silently to perfom a double-install .. or fixed .. whichever is the easiest to fix

well, even importing it twice diddnt work.

i even matched themes: executive before i imported twice. no dice.

Unfortunately the the only workaround at the moment is to import it twice, but if the problem continues then more investigation will be need . I would suggest that you raise a support query so someone from support can get hold of the snapshot/partial site design to check it. You can raise a support query through here

This issue will be fixed in the next release.

Ive never managed to get this working properly - I always deploy using a snapshot.
