Hi

would it possible to have the shipping catagory of each product set to "use parent"

The new features are great but it is going to take me a while to change 3500 products to the correct shipping catagory so i thought i would get in a wish now.

Basicaly i want to be able to set a shipping catagory at section level rather than each individual product

I have to second that, I am not going through the 3,100 products on our website to set each shipping catagory. In principle it is a good idea but it is a long job to do it.

There should be a global setting that applies to all unless you add something. Much like the default weight field in shipping.

Can you export to excel, change it and then put it back?

I do use one setting as the default but i have four catagories so it still mean alot of work.

I am going to look at changing it in the database directly, this is were i do all the price changes now as it is quicker.
