Grr! Now I can't continue w/ the evaluation!

I uninstalled then reinstalled V8 to eliminate to things I had done and couldn't fix. I deleted the Site1, but it didn't create a new one. Now when I launch V8, it won't let me continue with the trial period. The box to click is greyed out.

I've purchased V8, but don't have the license yet. I really wanted to use this weekend, to explore and setup the site. Any way to get that trial period use back up?

If youve purchased V8, how can you not have a license key?

I purchased it Thursday, I think, and Brian told me he had to get the key from the UK, and it would probably be Monday before he had it to send to me. (I'm in the US.)

Its always been shipped with the software as far as i know. Unless youve downloaded it and not had it shipped?

There must be something lingering as you can delete everything and then reinstall the trial software and use it for another month, one of the mods has even said this can be done.

I ordered online, but wanted to go ahead and download so I could be working with it this weekend. I'm far too impatient to wait on the physical shipment! However, it should be here early next week, so I'll wait if I must. But bug with the pop up box sizes is a big issue for me, though.

After uninstalling you need to delete the V8 folder that remains. there is a thread all about this from the early days of V8 when everyone had the same problem
