Home Page not showing

Hello again,

I have upgraded from V6 to V8.

I had some great advice earlier and to get my site displaying correctly I had to delete all the .pl and .pm files and then copy them afresh from the original V8. This got rid of all the old NETQUOTEVARs which were still lurking.

I have created 2 brochure pages - 1. Home 2.Terms & Conditions.

The Terms page shows fine and the Navigation links (both from brochure & products)to the Terms work.

There is no sign of the Home page. I ticked the box to make it my home page. and called it home.html

When I click on the Navigation link it says - The requested URL /home.html was not found on this server.

The home page previews OK but the Navigation link shows PreviewHTML/%s.html

Do I need to remove some more V6 files which may be hanging around?

I am also having problems with the search facility - but one thing at a time....

Just to keep you updated....

What I've ended up doing is making a home page outside of Actinic (using FrontPage) and linking to and from there.

So all sorted now - thank you.

Now..... just the search facility to sort which I'll start a fresh thread if needed

and called it home.html

It should be called index.html - this is the page that will be looked for not home.html
