What has happened to CTRL F.....

.....in V7 you could use Ctrl F to bring up the search screen in orders and in V8 it's gone.

Please please please can we have it back. I know you can do Alt E F or right click on mouse and go to Find but Ctrl F was so much easier!

It is working for me.

When clicked onto the content treet I get the find product ref option (there is a note stating you need to select "show product references when editing" and "show pages names when editing" .. both in Business Settings | Options ... this may be whay you are not seeing.

When clicked onto the design window and Ctrl+F I get the "find in design" dialogue box.

I'm having the same problem and have ever since I switched over to V8 the month it came out.

It seems to be only when searching for orders - works fine for me when searching content trees....

Actually silly me. If you look on the 'Edit' menu you will see that the short cut for 'Find ordered Products' is 'Ctrl+J'.

Ctrl J and Ctrl F bring up two completely different screens. Ctrl F - Find Orders and Ctrl J - Find ordered products...

Ok version 8.5 has no shortcut for find by customer reference, only find my ordered product.

Also the edit menu totally vanishes when you're not logged in as an admin, any chance we could bring that back for all us people who can't remember shortcuts

Could you give us a bit more information on this please as I have not been able to replicate this happening. Do you mean that a user other than 'Administrator' does not see the 'Edit' menu?

I have asked the testing team too and they have not come across this either.
