Lots And Lots Of Errors - V8 Is Bad

You don't come across very thankful in my opinion for what its worth.
It is always a nightmare when a major problem appears and crashes your site, but you need to remember that everyone on the forum is giving their time and experience free. I in the past, having suffered a major crash had people spending hours trying to pinpoint the problem late on a Friday night, one member even offering to drive 60+ miles to try and help.

Unfortunately I don't have much knowledge to offer on techical problems but as a payback to all those who helped me, I try and post answers on the more 'basic/simple' so they don't have to spend time telling us how to 'butter toast'

Posting as you have done really won't entice members to help you much, maybe a real thank you may repair some of the damage caused, as you never know (with v8) when you might need a bit more advice.

I already have and intend to be a little more selective in my replies in future by blocking users that have a similar attitude.

I ready it about 2 this morning and was nodding as i read also.
If the blood keeps getting sucked out of the forum, eventually there will be none left to give.

Although the tone of his posts are a little abrasive, the sentiment is the same as many people on here. Most come on bleed it dry and disappear into the ether - that is the way these forums work.

It should be renamed the actinic stalwarts rather than community as a community is something that grows and improves and shares duties, this forum still relies on the same people it did 18 months ago.
