Special offers on custom page

i have created my own front page using dreamweaver and i just want to put special offers on it and nothing else but i want to be able to update the special offers using the catalog, how do i do this?

Hi Michael

Try this and see if it works. Turn on the New Products or Best Sellers feature via the Marketing tab of the software.This will enable to add to remove products to the list from within the software(in other words update from within the software). All you need to do is ensure that Innerlayot or the New Products/Best Seller list layout is inserted into your custom layout. You will also have to change the heading of the list to something like "Specail offers on these products" instead of "New Products/Best Sellers" .

Let me add something though if you intend to use the New products and Best sellers list for what they are meant to do then this might not be the way to go. If anyone else has any ideas please let us know
