BUG: Hidden Product, Duplicates & Fragment Visibility Kills Shopping Cart
I've reported this bug several times both in v7 and v8, but I've never figured out the exact circumstances under which it arises until now. I'm using 850beta and it still happens!
If you have more than one customer group and you set the visibility of a fragment to anything other than visible to all, the cart malfunctions.
Scenario:
1. Take a default store
2. Create another customer group
3. Create a hidden section
4. Move all of the books into the hidden section
5. Create a fragment in the Books section and set it's visibility so it cannot be seen by retail
6. Select all of the books in the hidden section, copy and paste as duplicates into the Books section with the new fragment.
7. Upload the store
8. Go to the books section and add any one of the duplicates to the cart
9. Click to checkout
et voila - the item in the cart vanishes!
Now, go back to the hidden section with the books in. On the general tab, uncheck the hide on website. Repeat steps 7-9 and this time the cart works.
