    Executive Theme

We have just upgraded to version 8 and are trying to build a new website with a more modern theme. We have decided we like the look and feel of the Executive theme. However, this doesnt seem to accomodate very wide logo gifs and if you try a logo that is too big the buttons appear over the top of it. It would be nice if Actinic told you what size picture the theme has been designed for - perhaps I have missed it.
Even better would be if the terms and conditions link at the top of the page was gone as it is also at the bottom of the page and the view cart/checkout/items value/login buttons were below the search/quick search buttons to accomodate a much longer logo/order hotline phone number type header.
Any ideas please as I am sure it would be a very popular base to start from.

That theme is already very popular as a base and the mods you talk about can be done within the design panel. A forum search will show much information

Hi i had a similar problem when starting up using this theme, although the solution should just be a case of editing the actinic style sheet to allow the page header to handle the size of the logo without it messing around with the format.

In the style sheet you can adjust height and width settings for the page header, logo etc which should help resolve your issue.

regarding the positioning of search buttons, t&c's you should be able to change/remove these by editing the template in the design section of catalog.
