VAT Inclusive Exclusve

Hi

I remember a thread many moons ago regarding the problem people were having regarding VAT. When they put the price of the product in (inclusive of VAT) Actinic then added VAT onto this price when 'Inclusive of VAT' was selected as an option.

So everyone had to input the price exclusive of VAT and then Actinic added the VAT. This then caused problems with rounding up/down.

Has this problem now been resolved in V8? Can the price be inputted inclusive of VAT and 'inclusive of VAT' selected without Actinic adding on the VAT.

VAT is the same in V8 as it is in V7.

I aint go V7.

So do we have to enter the price less the VAT for Actinic to work out the VAT or Inclusive prices?

The vat rounding problem has been around for years and it is not fixed as of yet, however actinic have committed to solving this problem in the not too distant future. V9 would be my guess.

As i understand you have to put your prices in as nett of vat and let actinic add the vat for you. There are a few workarounds with regards to getting the prices that you want, however in short for the few prices on which it causes problems, you are stuck with until it is fixed.
