    Problem with V8 Executive Theme

    Hi
I have a problem with the executive theme V8. When I replace the logo with something large than what's there already (including a background image) the ViewCart/checkout/login menu bar moves south and stops working.
I had this problem on Friday and thought I had buggered the code when I thried to remove the login part of the menu but I've double checked and it's definitely the logo size.
    Help please.
    thanks
    David

PS there's a working version of my first attempt up at -

Obvious one is to make your log the same size as the actinic one and see if it starts working again or put the actinic one back to check

I've done this already and sure enough it works again. The design has already been approved by the customer so I don't want to have to mess around with the design.
      Thanks anyway.

Alter the CSS that controls where the logo goes so that it caters for the new sizes.

tried that, the ViewCart/checkout/login menu moves beneath the main menu but stops working (see demo site at -
            http://trials.actinic.com/trials/trial37674/

is there really no way to move the ViewCart/checkout/login menu down the page and still have it work, that's all I want.

Why not - can you not read the code.

Me too - it must be the free design service we offer. I must try it next time Im getting paid to design a site.

I've just signed up for the Actinic Developer programme so I signed in trying to get onto the Actinic designers forum but it seems the username doesn't apply in the forum.
If you had encountered this problem before Malcolm why didn't you say so and offer some assistance as you've clearly got a solution. I had a problem, I asked for help on the 'community' forum.
If Actinic have a solution to this problem, which has come up before it seems, I'll post it here.

The issue here is NOT a problem with Actinic - I have no magic fix. It is down to design and your skills - I posted an example site for you to look at and view the code.

What do you want me to do - design the site for you by posting a step by step design guide on the forum. It is clear from the example site how I created the design, if you cannot read html then there is not much I can do. Next time you post I wont be answering so have a nice day.
