Pdf file help

Hi all

I know this item has been covered already, but something is confusing me.
I have a pdf file, located in my computer files(not at a domain) I want to add this to my site so it can be clicked on to view/downloaded.
The html:

!!<<a href="http://www.yourdomain.co.uk/acatalog/blahblah.pdf">Your text here</a>>!!

Lets me link to a site page??can someone tell me how to do this through a file.

Sorry in advance if this has been covered, I promise Ive searched.

You need to add the pdf to the aditional files which means that actinic will upload it and the link will work. OR you could ftp to the server if you want but the first option is better as it will be included in the snapshot

A site page is a file Helen, if you use the method of linking that you have written above, that works fine for files too. Replace the name of the file for blahblah. A link is made is up of 2 main elements, where it is and what it is, if you get those two correct and put things where the link is pointing to, there should be no problems at all.
