Plesk SSL httpsdocs

Hello, I'm trying to set up Actinic. I've noticed on other discussions that there are problems getting Actinic to download orders when on a Plesk set up. I have this issue. The order sessions have the owner permissions (apache) but everything else is has ftp user permissions. As a result, I cannot download or do anything with orders.

Running Actinic 8.5 on Apache / Plesk / under SSL (I've done a workaround to overcome the cgi-bin problem - got a cgi-bin installed on httpsdocs)

Is there a way around this or do I need to give up (or go down a PSP route)?

Paul,

We use Plesk with no issues at all. Not sure what the issue is but could you please export your network setting and post them here (remove passwords and username). Also tell us who you are hosting with.

Here's my network setup, I'm hosted on a UNIX/Plesk set up with WFCS. The scripts are working OK, but when orders are placed, actinic creates a number of order and session files that all have the owner as apache with read only permission (see image), rather than the ftp owner. This means I cannot retrieve the orders.

I looked again at the Actinic Forum and another person had this problem... The response from Actinic being: "I have also checked and seen you are using Plesk... there will be two different owner of the scripts which results in an order lock error or cannot open .session file.

What was the original problem with the cgi-bin? Our is on the same level as httpdocs and httpsdocs, not inside either. At a guess (and it is a guess, I'm no expert here) the PATHTOCGIBIN should be ../httpsdocs/cgi-bin2/ instead of /httpsdocs/cgi-bin2/
