User variable fields

Hi

Hopefully this won't be a problem, but can and how do I insert "user variable" fields into my product layout.

Basically I have a subscription to an internet forum as a product, and need to allow the buyer to choose, and type in their own username and password, during the process of buying it.

How is this achieved?

Have you tried using the "other info prompt" to capture text entry? There is a modification in the advanced user guide for getting 2 boxes (username / password) into the template
