Fragment Issue...confused!

Hi,

I have created a table with text, images and a 'Top Level Section List In A Box' within Dreamweaver. I have inserted the code from the table etc. into the text section of a fragment within Actinic within !!<< and >>!! When I initally preview the effect everything looks fine. However, if I proceed to edit the title or add anything else into the fragment text area, the next time I preview the page the section links have become lines of text without the box. When I check the code within the fragment text section it has reverted to the following:

[Top Level Section List]

instead of staying like this,

<Actinic:Variable Name="TopLevelSectionList" Value="Top Level Section List In Boxes"/>

I then have to go in and edit the code to add the box back in meaning extra duplication everytime I need to alter the fragment text.

Can anybody explain why this happens and offer some pointers as to how I can prevent this happening please? I am new to Actinic so any help offered would be great.

This could be because you are using

!!<< >>!!

instead of

!!< >!!

So the second < and > will probably make things confooosed.
