Create a list of customers

Could anyone tell me if there is any way of automatically creating a list of current customer on a website.

Can you be a bit more specific, do you want to create customer accounts from the customer details you have in Actinic or are you talking about monitoring customer activity on the website?

I would like to create a page listing all the people who have purchased our products - our website is limited to purchases from wholesalers selling on our product and we would like to list their names and addresses so they can be searched by potential customers.

You can extract this from the database with MS Access and I think Jan from www.Mole-End.biz has some tools that will help make this simpler.

But...I suspect you will need agreement from your customers before publishing their data etc.

You can use the mailing list feature to do this in V8 - (or my One Stop Marketing plugin for V7 and earlier), it's on the Marketing menu, this will export a list of email address and names and addresses, so you can then email all of your suppliers to get their agreement to publish their details and then use the results as the basis for your online list. It removes duplicates and so will be useful - you have the option to select invoice or delivery addresses, so if you are drop shipping for your suppliers make sure you choose invoice.
