    options at end of customisation

    Hi folks,

I need to build a shop for a Drum Kit supplier.

Basically they need to allow customers to custom build a drum kit out of components and colourschemes. these components will consist of different drum sizes, tomtom sizes, snare size, pedal etc).

Each component has a unique price for each size. for example:
5x14 snare drum in Maple is £300
5x13 snare drum in Maple is £250

The problem is that the same component is a different price in each of the 7 colourschemes. For example:
5x14 snare drum in Maple is £299
5x14 snare drum in Tiger Stripes is £315
5x14 snare drum in Bamboo is £250

    Likewise:
16x22 Bass drum in Maple is £599
16x22 Bass drum in Tiger Stripes is £799
16x22 Bass drum in Bamboo is £425

I know that Actinic will support this, but here's the tricky bit....

Once someone has custom built the drum kit (i.e. selected a certain pedal, stands, thrones, and various cymbals/drums), before checking out, the customer needs to be able to see their selected configuration, but also be choose the same configuration in 7 different colourschemes (i.e. maple wood finish, painted tiger stripes, bamboo).

I would need actinic to show something like this:

Your current drum configuration in a normal Maple finish: £3,500
this configuration is also available with Tiger stripes finish: £3,750
this configuration is also available with Bamboo finish: £4,550
    ...etc

I'm not sure if Actinic Business 8 can do this.

If Actinic can't cope with this, can anyone suggest a Actinic (or dreamweaver) plugin.

At a push, I can build a normal PHP database to cope with customising, but I don't have the knowledge to build a custom cart and then link it to HSBC)

    Can anyone help??

      thanks for the details.

I've just checked out the site and it seems Actinic will need customising.

So I assume there's no alternative to customising the scripts?
