Upgrading test site.

I have recently upgraded to Business V8 and have uploaded the test site. Everything looks fine but when I try to add something to the basket I get the error message shown below:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

1) Is this supposed to happen, being a test site?
2) If not how can I remedy it?

2. It looks like your server is not running the CGI scripts or the cgi-bin permissions are wrong. Check the cgi folder permissions to be minimum 755 and retry. If it still fails contact your host.
