    Perl Script Showing

    Hi.

When I click on the Contact Us link (amongst others) on my wesbite after uploading - www.ralphmorris.co.uk - the actual perl script is showing. I have scripts enabled on the server. Have I missed a setting within Actinic?

    Many thanks,

    Alexis.

Looks like your contact form has been corrupted - try restoring it to original in the library

It looks like all Perl scripts on your server are returning their source.

      Did you site work before?

Are you sure that cgi-bin is the right place for these scripts?

No - the site has not worked since its first upload a few days ago.

This is hosted on a Fasthosts Linux server and the cgi-bin is in the htdocs folder, which is the default setup.

Could this be a permissions issue?

        Regards.

This is simply the same problem. Your server isn't executing Perl scripts in that cgi-bin - it is simply returning them as if they were HTML pages.

Either you have a cgi-bin in the wrong place (which you fix in Actinic / Web / Network Setup) or something else is wrong at the server end.

It could well be permissions - hopefully someone will be along who knows Fasthosts.
