    Customer accounts database

I have 600+ customer's details to add to to the Actinic Customer accounts. Fortunately, they all fall into the same group and discount structure.

I have their details in an Access 2003 database (1 Table)

Can anyone advise if it is possible to merge this table with an existing or new table/s within the Actinic .mdb database?

If so, which table? - I can only identify two tables that have customer details but neither seem to hold ALL the details for the Customer accounts...

OR do I have to bite the bullet and fill 'em all in by hand

So far, all is well. Am I still worried? YES! Watch some b.....d mess it up!

consider using the "export" facility to a CSV - choose the "Customer" tick box and save to disk.

then open this up and look at the format.
re-create the format - simple bit of spreadsheet work, and then use the "import-upgrade" to re-import the new details.
one note of caution. take a backup and another and another ! - you can never make too many backups

Yeah.... Thanks for that one Kevin - sounds absolutey perrrrrfect idea -

Noted: Too much caution cannot be given on this point...I have 2 x 200gb internal & 1 x 125gb & 1 x 350gb external drives for backups... I lost 2 internal hard drives because of a faulty Motherboard - ever since, I have beem paranoid about backups...

(with the cost of high capacity USB external dives dropping dramaticaly, I certainly reccommend one to anyone)
